THE BEGINNING

As a dad of two toddlers, I felt it slipping—the moments, the phases, the little things that vanish before you even realize they’re gone. Everyday brought something new, but just as quickly, something disappeared.

As a filmmaker, I had a way to hold onto it. That’s how Kid Docs was born.

With over a decade of experience as a director, cinematographer, and editor—working on everything from feature films, to nationally broadcast commercials, to intimate vérité projects—I began turning the lens toward my own kids.

Asking my then two and four-year-olds questions on camera and hearing their amazing responses in their toddler voices was a powerful way for me to connect with my children and create a family heirloom that we’ll have forever.

Filming them play, create and grow in their everyday life with filmmaking craft and professional equipment made me realize what a gift this could be for other families.

Now I’m honored to offer the same to other families: a way to bottle the fleeting magic of childhood before it grows out of reach. Something permanent. Something real. Something worth keeping.
